CO85: Sketch antique figures by old masters, replicate details to develop skills akin to the originals. Analyze methods, including approach, composition, and techniques.

 

CO86: Create a portfolio displaying both theoretical understanding and practical reconstruction of antique figurative sculptures, exploring aesthetics across eras and regions. Highlight proficiency in tools and techniques, noting changes from the original artist to present practices.

 

CO87: Validate comprehension by analyzing and interpreting formal elements of artwork through replicating decisions made by master artists, facilitating direct learning from their techniques and expertise.

 

CO88: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction.

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion on composition subjects, Tutorials, Videos, Demonstration,

 

Learning activities for the students:

Sketching, Lay outing, Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks, Field practical, handling of tools, machines, and casting and molding equipment.

Layouts and Sketches, Continuous Assessment Test, Semester End Examinations, Daily Assignments, Observation, Student Teacher Interaction and Final Submissions.

Study of life/ figure made by great masters (Greek, Roman, Western, Indian etc)
