Objective: 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course will enable the students to-

  • Skilled in the portraying ideas successfully by employing suitable themes/thoughts.
  • Practice and outlining composition with various subjects with aesthetic values.
  • Express and visualize their ideas and thoughts in the composition.
  • Progress towards developing a person style.
  • Exemplifying and explore mediums – Acrylic color, Oil color, etc.

The students will –

CO151: Understand and observe the perspective and perception to include flora and fauna in composition.

CO152: Be proficient in constructing theme-based layouts.

CO153: Remember basic principles and elements of art to compose a composition in individual style.

CO154: Practice and signify conceptual thoughts and strengthen the fundamentals knowledge of visual representation (connotative form).

CO155: Explore subject with aesthetic values, color and textural applications, compositional ideas.

CO156: Demonstrate and gain knowledge about composition based on contemporary artistic styles.

CO157: Practice and experiment different painting mediums and techniques to create personal style.

COURSE CONTENT

Composition based on the organization of space and the use of horizontal and vertical lines arranged in 2D and 3D, advancement of previous experience towards complete pictorial interpretation, theme and expression of mood. Explorationof various creative possibilities of expressions like developing individuality.

Submission:  

5 works in Oil colour/ Acrylic/ Mix medium (minimum 2’X 2’/ 2’X3’ size canvas)

1 Tempera Sheet (15”X18”)

50 layouts according to your composition

5 sketches per day
