The students will- CO59: Achieve theoretical knowledge of different types of relief along with practical uses of relief so as to get an idea of the industry. CO60: Create a relief sculpture of their chosen organic form while understanding the form in terms of structure, proportion, and texture to be able to assess their future individual projects CO61: Apply various methods to create illusion of depth in the work to illustrate tool handling and material proficiency.
CO62: Illustrate and create a composition in clay to understand rules of composition like rhythm, balance, etc.
CO63: Illustrate their understanding of a basic single piece mold making process to understand the plaster of paris and its methodology
CO64: Cast the composition into a permanent medium to learn the mold making and casting process
CO65: Choose the desired surface treatment and color on their casted relief to understand their aesthetic language.

COURSE CONTENT:
Composition in clay of your own choice and their representation in relief with two or more human figures, birds, animals with modeling and casting. Direct building process in plaster, cement and terracotta.
