Objective: 

The course will enable the students to display advanced level of understanding of what a composition is in a 3D work of art. They will able to form a connection in between two or more figures/objects in their artworks exemplifying their practice so far of elements and properties of art.

Composition in Round

(Practical)

 

CO120: Compose the sculpture in a 2D sketch or a small 3D maquette to organize form in the composition. Review basic principles and elements of art to construct a composition

 

CO121: Prepare a portfolio depicting the understanding of movement and rhythm between two or more forms to construct a well-balanced composition, Plan a mold that best solves the issues, a proper step by step plan to cast their molds, recognize their individual mold challenges to enhance material proficiency to industry standards.

 

CO122:  Create sculpture displaying an understanding of recognize human figures and their anatomy; execute two or more human forms in composition, interacting with each other, to learn to compose using human figures.

 

CO123: Defend the understanding of composition, techniques developed and establish herself as a sculptor.

 

CO124:  Contribute effectively in course-specific

Interactive Lectures, Discussion on composition subjects, Tutorials, Videos, Demonstration, Reading assignments.

COURSE CONTENT:

Advanced composition-individual or group compositions based on specific subject suitable for execution in fiber or scrape material

Submission:  4 compositions in fiber/ scrape material /Plaster.
