COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course will enable the students to-

  1. Develop observation and understanding of the surrounding.
  2. Proficient in capturing views from different angles and perspective.
  3. Apply emphasis on the drawing, study and experimentation of medium.
  4.  Exemplify and create drawing based compositions.

The Students Will –

CO68: Explore the actual physicality of making a drawing-based composition.

CO69: Proficient to develop a drawing composition in different angles, surround and perspective.

CO70: Discover existing and reinventing new methods, ideas or processes.

CO71:  To apply various method and materials or mix media in composition to create series of one concept.

CO72: Develop creative skills, advancement and talented performance in creation.

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Tutorials, Reading assignments, Demonstration.

Learning activities for the students:

Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks.

Semester end examinations, Continuous Assessment Test, Sketching, layouts, Solving problems in tutorials, Assignments, Presentation, Individual and group projects, regular, display and submission of artworks.

 

COURSE CONTENT:

Student will prepare a drawing-based composition in his own style in black and white or colour.

Submissions: 5 Art Works, Size- 3’x 4’ (minimum)
