Objective: 

The course will enable the students to create identical characters using tints, tones, and shades, identify and highlight the dominant features in caricatures, and modify characters with satire to enhance their noticeability.

CO57: Develop proficiency in identifying distinctive characteristics and analyze the facial features & expessions critically to depict the personality in a humorous manner through multiple sketches

 

CO58: Produce a professional portfolio showcasing the exaggerated caricatures with dramatic effect based on observational and artistic skills manually & digitally in a unique and personalized style

COURSE CONTENT:

  1. Exercise 1: Students will prepare caricature drawings (10”x 15” size) using different mediums and techniques on paper, based on topical social and political events (5 manual).
  2. Exercise 2: The students using different computer software will prepare a similar kind of ten caricature drawings of 10x15 inch size (5 digital).
