Objective: 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

This course will enable the students to-

  1. Describe figures, objects, and environments using line, value, and pattern
  2. Demonstrate proficiency with classical and experimental drawing techniques
  3. Understand how to render objects in light and shadow
  4. Apply the skills using variety of media and formats, and understand the basics of layout and the use of type.

The Students Will -

 

CO95: Identify her own set of skills to take the illustration projects from the market

 

CO96: Develop a strategy and get it approved from the client to avoid confusion in future

 

CO97: Experiment with the sketching skills for creating the layouts and get an idea on visual representation

 

CO98: Compose the design elements and principles to make aesthetically appealing illustrations

 

CO99: Select the appropriate art medium or software to develop the sketches into final illustration and get the approval from client

 

CO100: Identify and assess the reproduction techniques and select the appropriate process to get the final output

COURSE CONTENT:

  • Students will undertake at least two major illustration projects and execute them according to the market trend, they will also learn about the reproduction processes of the same. Students will be free to take market work, but prepare under the supervision of a class teacher.

Submission: - Two major projects consist of ten illustrations each project of 10”x15” size.
