The Students will-

 

CO61: Construct Identical Characters by articulating face anatomy.

 

CO62: Produce a 3 dimensional work of study by demonstrating tints, tones and shades

 

CO63: Modify the techniques, styles of pencil/ pen/charcoal, oil pastels, poster colours & pencil colours to create a head study for illustration, cartoons, animations, portrait painting.

 

CO64: Judge and adapt a head study drawing based on female & male figure, features, head angle, positions, value and character of head

 

CO65: Outline the medium requirements & the final representation style and decide the suitable surface for the artwork

 

CO66: Modify free line drawing, observation of human face, perspective drawings to meet the character requisite

COURSE CONTENTS:

Sustained study of portrait from life, delineation of the structure, character of head, study of features, study of light and shade, composition in different settings, development of personal style (pencil/ pen/charcoal, oil pastels, poster colours, pencil colours, dry pastels, water colour, mix media)

 

Submission: 7 Plates (1/2 imperial)

50 sketches of head study
