The course will enable the students to develop visual literacy about the Far Eastern art world. Evaluate and prescribe the art works of Far Eastern art and artists. Assemble knowledge about contemporary printmakers of Japan and their technique used for creating the work of art.

Ukiyo –E Woodcut printmaking and Kabuki Theater how to influence on printmaking and its artists: Katsyshika Hokusai, Moronobu, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, Toyokuni II, Toshusai Sharaku.
Contemporary artists in China and Japan: Wang Yuhui, Liu Chuahai, Zhang Yogqing, Tom Kristense, Paul Binni, Yuki Hiratsuka.
