Objective: 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

This course will enable the students to-

  1. Recall the stories heard in the childhood and learn to illustrate the same according to market trend
  2. Develop an idea to justify the relationship between words and visuals
  3. Apply the knowledge of creating identical characters using tint, tone and shades.
  4. Identify the dominating feature of the character and learn to modify the characters by adding satire to make it look noticeable

The Students Will -

 

CO17: Review the story and comic strip to get in depth knowledge of how the things will occur and identify the important scenes to be illustrated

 

CO18: Assess the characteristics of the personality and identify the features to be distorted and highlight the same to make their appearance funnier

 

CO19: Explore and select the apt material to be used for ensuring the client about the quality of final output

 

CO20: Analyze the scope of caricature and create personalized caricature for clients and caricatures to support editorial content in magazine and newspaper

 

CO21: Experiment with the sketching skills and distort the features to create a caricature as per the requirement of the content and create multiple sketches to create the characters of the story

 

CO22: Organize the elements of art for creating aesthetically appealing characters in exaggerated or simplified form to reflect the characteristics

 

CO23: Combine design principles of art in designing software's for composing the illustrations with the text to give an appealing look  to the story book

 

CO24: Prepare the final dummy of the story book to take the final approval before bulk printing

 

CO25: Develop a personalized style of creating illustration to establish herself as a brand and get the recognition in the market
