The students will – CO203: Work under artists, art curators to understand the artist’s working style, technique and method of restoration. CO204: Demonstrate and develop art works with the learned technique, method and style. CO205: Defend visual projects through individual and group critiques. CO206: Gain knowledge in the managing strategies for Art Museums, Art Galleries. CO207: Provides knowledge in preparing art projects and action plans. CO208: Execute the learned art to avail projects. |

COURSE CONTENT:
Students will be required to undergo three months practical training under a renowned artist, artisan or craftsman. The training is an opportunity to gain work experience in an area of interest and it is mandatory. Student has to select a particular area of her interest like miniature painting, fresco, enameling, block printing, papermache, phad, blue pottery, terracotta, leather craft, lac work, madhubani, pichwai, dhogra, batik and stained glass painting etc.
The student will also make a detailed report of the day to day work and attach her own photographs of the learning stages. She has to submit the same to the teacher mentor and will take a viva-voce to clear the paper..
The artist/agency under whom the student is taking training will create a report of the student on the basis of Attendance, Regularity, Sincerity, Creativity, work done during the training, and overall performance of the student. The student will work for minimum 300 hours during the semester to earn 20 credits and minimum 40% marks out of 600.
