Objective: 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course will enable the students to-

  1. Outlining of artistic view of nature in picture frames. 
  2. Understand and apply manageable strategies to paint subjects in natural way.
  3. Exemplifying and explore mediums – Acrylic color, Charcoal, Mixed-Media, Oil color, Pen/Pencil, Water color etc.

The students will –

CO183: Analyze and observe style of landscapist and their landscape artworks.

CO184: Observe landscape /cityscapes on the spot and practice them in detail study including variation in sunlight.

CO185: Addition and elimination of unwanted subjects/objects, eyelevel and Vanishing Point and practicing.

CO186: Gain knowledge of different types of perspectives.

CO187: Identify the use of textural effects in foreground, middle ground and background.

CO188: Implement, experiments and explore the use of various types of color with tonal variation through multiple layers and demonstrate it same in landscape paintings.

CO189: Proficient in building simplified Landscape, artwork and abstract.

COURSE CONTENT

Composition based on Landscape/ Cityscape in Water Colour and theme based in any medium. Study of various monuments, buildings, streets and foliage.

Submission:  

3 Works of Landscape (1/2 Imperial) in size

3 works of Composition based on figures (2’x3’) 

5 sketches in pencil, pastel and colour pencil per day.
