Objective: 

The course will enable the students to develop visual literacy and observation. Handling of tools for technical implementation of head study in the printmaking process of carving and engraving for constructing an accurate face and its features on the matrix. Balancing of positive and negative space which will enhance the dominant form.

Portrait (Practical)

CO57: Develop and plan in making portrait sketches in printing. Students will strengthen perceptive and inventive printing (aquatint) skills.

 

CO58: Inculcate which type of tools and printing technique is used in realistic and abstract portraits making.

 

CO59: Construct more realistic and 3 dimensional art work in portrait.
