Objective: 

The course will enable the students to Understand colour relief printmaking technique using materials, tools and methods. The relief print will be studied with different surfaces, texture in accordance to the matrix. Printmaking will include the handling techniques of spooning & machine print with different materials.

CO64: Develop layouts on a daily basis for both black/white and coloured prints by using different tones to form a composition.

 

CO65: Assemble the knowledge of the relief printing process and present it in showcasing the work.

 

CO66: Produce artworks displaying observation of colour balance taking multi colour print from light to dark colour scheme and understanding the process of relief process.

 

CO67: Justify their works including the process of relief printing and validate attain skill of composition develop possibilities in printmaking.

 

CO68: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction.

COURSE CONTENT:

Composition in Graphic Techniques (relief and intaglio) based on visual world

 

Submission:   2 works in Woodcut in B/W and 1 in colour (12”X18” minimum size)

1 in Lino in colour (8”X10”)

30 layouts

5 sketches of composition per day
