Objective: 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

The course will enable the students to-

  1. 1. Exercise and demonstrate use and mastery of the elements of art.
  2. 2. Develop visual literacy.
  3. 3. Analyze, interpret and evaluate the form, light and shade of works of art.
  4. 4. Identify use materials, tools and processes from a variety of media .
  5. 5. Create original objects in denotative form.
  6. 6. Exemplifying and explore mediums –Charcoal, Dry Pastels, Oil Pastels, Pencil/pen, Water color, etc.

The students will -

CO5:  Acquire basic foundation skills.

CO6: Ability to synthesize the use of basic principles of art and explore them to a specific aesthetic intent.

CO7: Apply visual organizational strategies and varied mediums to create still-life study.

CO8:  Explore still-life study in compositions.

Drawing and Study of still objects of different shapes, texture and material under different light

Submission: 2 works of Still Life in different medium in B/ W as well as in colour

                      2 compositions in colour
