Basic Design

The students will-

CO24.  Observe and create object study by transforming into three-dimensional form making on two dimensional surface with focus on observation (denotative form), shape and proportion through hands training and on practices.

CO25.Understand varied medium and techniques to explore its possibility in art practices.

CO26. Gain knowledge about Relief printmaking (lino, wood, mdf, Sun board).

CO27. Test various terracotta processes like coiling, pinching, flattening etc. to compose a relief with decorative motifs of their choice.

CO28. Experiment with color theory and knowledge of primary, secondary, tertiary and complementary colors and their relationships to design compositions for market requirements.

CO29. Interpret and apply fundamental elements and principles of design and demonstrate skills of drawing to create black and white, monochrome and colored geometrical composition, symmetrical and asymmetrical compositions.
