Abhivyakti Ek Prayaas, a creative tradition spanning over a decade, has firmly established itself as a cornerstone of artistic expression at the School of Fine Arts, IIS (deemed to be) University, Jaipur. The annual exhibition provides a unique platform for young artists to showcase their creativity and talent. The 22nd edition of Abhivyakti, held at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, from February 21 to February 25, 2025, marked yet another significant milestone in this journey of artistic exploration and expression.

The Alumni Meet took place on 22^nd February, 2025 as part of Abhivyakti ek prayas, a prestigious exhibition that showcases the creative talents of the students of IIS University. It was a remarkable gathering that celebrated the journey of our former students and their contributions to the field of fine arts. This special event served as a bridge between the past and present, offering a platform for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater, interact with current students, and share their experiences.

This year, we were honored to welcome several distinguished alumni, some of whom have established themselves as accomplished artists, graphic designers, and professionals in various creative fields. Among the notable alumni who graced the event were Himanshu Kumari Khangarot, Janvi Kastiya, Ayushi Medatwal, Aishani Goyal, Ankita Didwania, Shikha Agarwal, Rajika Parnami, Diya Singh Shekhawat, Khushi Surana, Konpal Agarwal, Honey Dhawan, Hem Khandelwal, Prachi Chandana, Swati Mehta, Vidhi Saxena, Chitwani Mathur, Divya Srivastava, Tarini, Ayushi Jain, Nupur Verma, Simran Choudhary, Aditi Rathore, Anushruti Jain, Nasreen, Diya Jain, Janhavi Soni, Bhoomi Sharma, Archita Khatri, Shubhanjana, Shruti Bhati, Ifrah Fatima, Inderpreet Kaur, Niharika Bansal, Ayushi Jain, and Jyoti Singh.

Each of these alumni brought with them a unique story of growth and success, serving as an inspiration for the current batch of students. Their presence added immense value to the event, fostering a spirit of mentorship and camaraderie.

The event commenced with a warm welcome by faculty members and student representatives, expressing gratitude for the presence of our esteemed alumni. The speech highlighted the significance of the Abhivyakti exhibition in providing a platform for artistic expression and acknowledged the invaluable contributions of former students in shaping the legacy of the Fine Arts Department.

Following the introduction, the alumni were given a guided tour of the exhibition, where they had the opportunity to admire the works of the current students. They were impressed by the creativity and innovation reflected in the pieces, and many of them engaged in discussions with students, offering constructive feedback and words of encouragement.

A special segment was dedicated to alumni sharing their experiences. Several alumni took to the stage to recount their journey post-graduation, discussing their careers, challenges, and achievements. They spoke about how the knowledge and skills gained during their time at the university played a crucial role in their professional lives. Students were particularly inspired by the stories of alumni who had ventured into diverse fields such as fine arts, design, academia, and entrepreneurship.
