Anti Ragging Slogan Writing Competition on 'Ragging is a Crime' 2019-20

Youth of our country is all about eradicating the problems of our society and they are not afraid to pen down their thoughts. Coming together and uniting the thoughts is a common notion. Ragging has been seen as a crime in recent times all over the country. A lot of people have come forward to eradicate this from the society and to make it a better environment for the students in all colleges and universities.

A Slogan writing competition was organized by The Anti-Ragging Squad of The IIS University in collaboration with the Department of Visual Arts on the topic "Ragging is a crime" as a small contribution to this movement. Students from various departments of the University participated in the same. Students were free to pen down their thoughts in Hindi as well as English and even in their own mother tongue. These thoughts were presented on a big display board. This came out as a big compilation of students' thoughts in one place.All of them showed their creativity in various forms to highlight the problem.

The result was Judged by the experts from the Department of Visual Arts. Each of the students was appreciated for their effort and the thoughts they presented. It gave immense satisfaction to see all of them to come forward and participate in this initiative to make the intuition a ragging free environment. The students gave words to the problem to which people don’t feel like talking about and ignore it if they see it happening in front of them.
