Discussion on Cave Art of Spain during ‘17th Abhivyakti Ek Prayas’ The Annual Art Exhibition at Jawahar kala Kendra, jaipur

A true masterpiece does not tell everything.
In the 17th "Abhivyakti- Ek Prayas" The Annual Art Exhibition held at Jawahar kala Kendra, Jaipur organised by the fine arts department of IIS University, jaipur; students were amazed to see the hardwork and dedication, their teachers and fellowmates did to make it a great success. In an art discussion  held in the art gallery "Cave art of Spain" was discussed. The teachers of the department  provided a vast knowledge on how the paintings were made, what were the tools, how they would have prepared colours at that time period to paint. Caves such as El Castillo Cave, Altamira, Cauve de la Pileta which are supposed to have the oldest of the paintings done in the caves were discussed among the students. Teachers also shared information about how they used to paint their surrounding activities and animals by drawing all as  stick figures and they would use the sources loke iron oxides for red and manganese oxides for black  available in the region to prepare the paint. 
The session provided very useful information on the topic which everyone should know as how the process of making paintings started and what was the early stage of it.
