The course will enable the students to construct well-balanced compositions, artists should explore the basic elements and principles of art, illustrate tempera techniques on Vasli sheets, and acquire drawing skills through detailed observation by studying objects through measurement, contour, mass, volume, and illumination. Explore mediums like poster colors, mineral/stone colors, and watercolors to enhance their creative expression.

CO12: Produce a step-by-step progress report through layouts, sketches exemplifying use of compositional properties.

COURSE CONTENT:
Compositional exercise based on various objects with a view to transform them into 2D/ 3D pictorial images on sheet. Developing an awareness of the pictorial space, division of space and form.
Submission: 2 works in wasli & 2 in other medium + 15 Layouts 1 work in home assignment
