Objective: 

The course will enable the students to Understand the artworks of great masters from around the globe. Gain knowledge of artists concerning their styles, techniques, and subject matters. Learn, research, and ethically create a replica of a renowned artwork. Explore the trends and techniques developed by various artists across different eras, considering the social, cultural, and environmental conditions of their times. Analyze the formal, technical, and compositional characteristics of artworks. Identify the subject matter crafted by master artists worldwide.

CO11:  Produce layouts and sketches with proper observations and assessing the master artworks. 

 

CO12:   Prepare a submission assessing and exploring the techniques and styles of master artists while creating artworks. Analyze the formal, technical, compositional characteristics of work of art.

 

CO13:  Explain the learnings and understanding of concept and built art language of master artists by recreating artworks.

COURSE CONTENT:

 

The student will select a master artist and study his art works. The student will make a file of a particular artist including his biography, style and technique, details of major art works and what makes him different. The student will analyze the formal, technical, compositional characteristics of work of art and then will apply the learnt technique in her own art work to enhance in all respect.
