Objective:

CO85: Delineate the structure of the person's portrait and study the character traits of the person's face in different mediums using shadow, light and global needs.

 

CO86: Prepare a submission demonstrating your development of skills in portrait, composition and preparation in the given medium.

 

CO87: Create art that reflects observation and exemplify it in different mediums, while taking account of creative qualities such as perspective, analysis and ingenuity.

COURSE CONTENT:

Study of portrait from life, delineation of the structure and the character of head, study of features, study of light and shade, in monochrome and color (pencil/ charcoal and dry pastel, oil pastel, water colour)

Submission: 7 works (1/2 imperial) in size

5 sketches of head study per day
