Objective: 

The course will enable the students to Showcase accurate proportions of animal and human anatomy. Transform these observed structures into a composition centered on human form. Design figures within an appropriate setting to create a cotual composition. Evaluate tonal values and use tone to convey volume, form, and space in the artwork.

CO61: Sketches should effectively demonstrate the figures of animals and humans by overlapping, mixing, in a composition.

CO62: Produce artworks having concepts and themes of a composition while exploring mediums and techniques.

CO63:  Portray compositions having aesthetic values in the created concept.

CO64:  Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction.

Approach in teaching: Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Tutorials, Reading assignments, Demonstration

Learning activities for the students: Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks.

Layouts & Sketches, Continuous Assessment Test, Semester End Examinations, Daily Assignments, Observation, Student Teacher Interaction and Final Submissions

 

 

COURSE CONTENT:

The student will compose a composition based on human figures in his own style choosing any medium.

Submission:   5 Paintings, Canvas Size- 3’x 4’ (minimum)
