The course will enable the students to understand vector graphics design using a powerful graphics software suite. Create stunning digital artwork, logos, and illustrations by mastering essential tools and techniques. Apply the tools for basic drawing and editing to advanced effects.

CO1: Develop layouts for designs and patterns in the software by using various tools and effects

CO2: Create a portfolio displaying their software skills to design office supplies, letterheads, business cards, cases, and other similar items for a brand considering professional ethics.

CO3: Assess the aesthetic sense and compositional skills in vector designs created in response to market needs and establish herself in the market as a corel draw expert

CO4: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion on composition subjects, Tutorials, Videos, Demonstration, Reading assignments.

Learning activities for the students:

Sketching, layouting of portrait study, Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks.

  4. Working with colours and fills
  5. Text and Typography
  6. Layers and Object Management
  7. Object arrangement and grouping
  8. Advanced Drawing Techniques
  9. Create Illustrations
  10. Apply Effects and Styles
  11. Printing and Exporting

SUBMISSIONS: 10 Designs, Stationery design for a company, letterheads, business cards, cases, and other similar items. Composition in 2D illusionary methods using Typography and Objects with effects.
