Objective: 

The course will enable the students to examine and evaluate the language and style of composition of world-famous artists. They will pay close attention to the surface of these compositions, leveraging it to execute their conceptual thoughts effectively. Additionally, students will undertake the challenge of developing a life-size artwork, navigating the complexities inherent to this scale of artistic endeavor.

Round Composition III

(Practical)

CO61: Create layouts or maquettes, incorporating figurative forms and expertly maneuvering them into a language that best suits their thoughts, particularly in round compositions. 

CO62: Create a portfolio reviewing favorite contemporary artists for inspiration rather than imitation. Use direct mediums for quicker handling and heightened concentration. Construct sculptures, pedestals, and props to enhance visual language in display.

CO63: Summarize and defend their point of making the round composition, including the appropriate application of mediums, forms, mold and casting choices, aimed at identifying patterns that contribute to their recognition of their art style.

CO64: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction. 

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion on composition subjects, Tutorials, Videos, Demonstration

Learning activities for the students:

Sketching, lay outing of portrait study, Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks, Giving tasks, Field practical, handling of tools, machines, and casting and molding equipment.

COURSE CONTENT:

The student will prepare compositions in round using various textures, medium and will practice for skillful handling of tools and materials.
