The course will enable the students to gain an appreciation and understanding of portraits from ancient eras. They will develop insights into the tools, materials, and techniques employed during those times. Additionally, students will delve deeper by immersing themselves in the journey master artists may have taken while creating portraits. Ultimately, they will strive to reproduce finished replicas of ancient works, meticulously recreating features, face structure, rhythm, and balance.
COURSE CONTENT:
Study of portraits made by great masters (Greek, Roman, Western, Indian etc)
Submission: 2 works minimum.
