Objective: 

The course will enable the students to construct a proportionate 3D replica of a live model, paying close attention to the anatomical details of the human form. Recognize and understand the intricacies of bone structure and muscle build-up to develop a deeper comprehension of individual features. This practice enhances the ability to accurately replicate the nuances of the human body.

Live Model Study  II

(Practical) 

CO57: Create sketches to conceptualize armature and grasp fundamentals of three-dimensional construction by dramatizing live model attributes.

CO58: Create a portfolio highlighting observational skills in clay modeling of figures, with a focus on facial features and character portrayal. Understand muscle and bone structures for accurate replication of poses. Master mold-making techniques for casting selected works in permanent mediums.

CO59: Create a life study showcasing an understanding of anatomical proportions. Focus on detailing the structure and character of the head, studying facial features for resemblance.

CO60: Defend the understanding of life study on the skill set developed and

establish herself as a portrait artist. 

CO61: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion on composition subjects, Tutorials, Videos, Demonstration, 

Learning activities for the students:

Sketching, lay outing of portrait study, Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks, Field practical, handling of tools, machines, and casting and molding equipment.

COURSE CONTENT:

Study from live model in clay and casting in any medium (plaster/ cement/ fiber/ metal/ scrape)

SUBMISSIONS: 2 works in half-life size
