Objective: 

The course will enable the students to execute a 3D work going through the whole process of armature building, clay modeling, mold making, casting, and finishing. They will be able to execute real or implied textures and surface handling according to their ideas.

CO180:  Compose layouts and maquettes of artworks that enable self-expression, their understanding of themselves and aesthetics to adapt to expressing through art.

 

CO181: Prepare a portfolio by showcasing the global industry process of sculpture making. Exemplify different techniques of armature building, mold making, casting in various mediums, and then finishing the surfaces.

 

CO182: Create  compositions displaying the  proportion, and anatomy of the chosen form to build a sculpture that is capable of communicating the thoughts of the students, their ethics, human values, and environmental approach.

 

CO183: Defend the understanding of all the properties of art like proportion, emphasis etc by rethinking, arguing and validating their voice as an industry-ready global artist.

Interactive Lectures, Discussion on composition subjects, Tutorials, Videos, Demonstration, Reading assignments.

COURSE CONTENT:

Individual or group compositions (Figurative) based on specific subject suitable for execution in fiber.

SUBMISSIONS:  3 compositions

                         20 layout and drawing

   5 sketches per day
