Composition (Practical)

The students will - CO216: Construct personal work of art which demonstrates an understanding of the composition.
CO217: Generate conceptual and procedural relationship between style of painting, material and techniques.
CO218: Enhance the knowledge of using art mediums, colors, forms, textures with advance compositional skills.
CO219: Demonstrate and build up problem-solving skills by providing a step-by-step approach to specific issues in class projects.
CO220: Understand, interpret and enjoy painting from different cultures to initiate a life- long process of expanding knowledge on the diversity of culture and heritage.
CO221: Proficient enough to showcase the practiced work with aesthetics point of view. |
Approach in teaching: Interactive Lectures, Discussion on composition subjects, Tutorials, Videos, Demonstration, Reading assignments.
Learning activities for the students: Sketching, lay outing, Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks, Field practical, handling of various material and mediums of art. |

COURSE CONTENT:
Advancement of previous experience towards a complete composition, theme and expression of mood, symbolism, dramatization, distortion for emotional effect .Project with emphasis on independent creative work .
Submission: 8 Canvases in Mix Media (Minimum 2’X3’)
