Objective: 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

The course will enable the students to-

  1. Delineation of artistic view on figure form and to demonstrate their practical skills in drawing and painting human figures in composition.
  2. Achieve expertise in the medium handling be it carving, constructing, assembling or creating.
  3. Skilled of adopting and experimenting with styles from different form of art to construct connotative forms.
  4. Proficient in interpreting their own ideas and individual style in 3D.

The students will-

CO223: Composing an artwork that enables self-expression, their understanding of themselves and their aesthetic to adapt to expressing through art.  

 

CO224: Construct figurative compositions with two or more figures to assess their abilities to communicate through human forms.

 

CO225: Build, link, morph forms to enhance their visual language vocabulary.

 

CO226: Debate the socio political scenarios going on around them and use them to fuel up their imaginations to practice using art as medium of change in society.

 

CO227: Practicing and experimenting different techniques of mold making, more complex processes to be able to contribute in professional studios and self-works as well.

 

CO228: Cast sculptures in as many different materials as possible, to experiment and gain technical knowhow of mediums that are being used by their contemporaries.

 

CO229: Mix and Experiment with different surface treatments, to observe the various effects that colors, polishes and abrasives provide to the sculpture.

Individual or group compositions (Figurative) based on specific subject suitable for execution in fiber/POP/Cement casting
