Objective: 

The course will enable the students to get a practical experience of working with larger quantity of materials they will able to interpret in clay a chosen organic form such as a bird, animal, human – Understand its structure, proportion, texture etc. Compose a 3D work of art using two or more forms.

CO90: Compose a maquettes and layouts explaining the final works of compositions

 

CO91: Prepare a portfolio

displaying their skills of well-built armature, addition method of sculpting, mould making, casting in permanent medium

 and finishing the work of art

 

CO92: Create sculpture displaying an understanding anatomy of the chosen forms in the composition to build a sculpture that looks interesting from all directions.

 

CO93: Defend the understanding of composition, techniques, developed and establish herself as an artist.

Interactive Lectures, Discussion on composition subjects, Tutorials, Videos, Demonstration, Reading assignments.

COURSE CONTENT:

Composition in clay of your own choice and the enlargement in round with two or more human figures, birds, animals with molding and casting. Direct building process in plaster, cement.

 

SUBMISSIONS: 4 Round Composition in any two processes

20 Layouts

5 sketch per day
