Objective: 

The course will enable the students to identify and understand the nature of the selected topic. Develop a concept to justify the captured image. Assess and apply the knowledge of contemporary visual culture to capture an aesthetically appealing image. Identify, explain and use various post processing techniques to enhance the captured image.

Conceptual Photography (Practical)

CO12: Through experimentation analyse a series of conceptual photographs symbolically representing ideas, emotions, or narratives.

 

CO13: Conceive, design, and execute a series of conceptual photographs in a portfolio that utilise the interplay of light, shadow, composition, and perspective to visually express abstract ideas, emotions, or narratives.

 

CO14: Explain creative choices and how each element contributes to the overall impact of the conceptual image given a specific theme or concept

 

CO15: Create unique, thought-provoking concepts for projects and establish herself as a photographer.
