A group exhibition titled 'Prarambh' of Indian contemporary printmakers held at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur from April 1 to April 3. It was curated by Jayshree Singh Deo and Organised by Vijay Singh Beniwal (Prarambh Art Studio). The exhibition showcased the works of invited renowned printmakers and the pracitising students prints. The opening ceremony brought together esteemed guests, art enthusiasts, collectors, and members of the creative community. The  event was inaugurated by  Chief Guest Prof. Subrato Mandal, a renowned printmaker of Rajasthan and Retd. Prof. Of Rajasthan University and Guest of honour Dr. Yogendra Singh Naruka.

Among the invited printmakers, Shri Subrato Mandal’s work titled ‘Kach and Devyani’ exhibited in the gallery and while seeing the work students got to know about the relief printmaking technique on Sunboard. It was also benificial as they interacted one to one with artist and learnt ways how to explain their art work. The work of printmaker Yogendra, gives a new vision in the process of making multiple plate for  print. This held students to know about how to work with multiple plate simultaneously while taking the impression on paper.

From the visit to the exhibition, Students get to know about diverse range of art practice in the field of printmaking, incorporates experimental technique and medium explored by contemporary printmakers. The exhibition connects the immersing talents with art lover and give change for their growth in the society. It served as a platform to interact with contemporary printmakers and practicing printmakers of India. Student have the opportunity to interact with renowned printmakers Mandal sir and Yogendra sir which help them to look for a career in this field of printmaking.
