Objective: 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course will enable the students to-

  1. Retrieve the acquired knowledge of creativity, spontaneous drawing.
  2. Practice and manipulate the drawing in theme and concept.
  3. Emphasize the study of creativity, exploration of media and aesthetic values in general.
  4. Command of technique and materials, both traditional and experimental.
  5. Construct signature style

The Students Will –

CO52: Effectively apply knowledge towards developing a consistent, personal style.

CO53:  Interpret   creative potential after gaining advanced knowledge of art styles, mediums relevant to fine art practices

CO54: Analyse and apply advanced art techniques & materials

CO55: Create compositions according to the contemporary scenario.

CO56: Mind map own signature style in creating compositions

CO57: Validate to execute picture compositions in identical series.  

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Tutorials, Reading assignments, Demonstration

Learning activities for the students: Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks.

Semester end examination, Continuous Assessment Test, Sketching, layouts, Solving problems in tutorials, Assignments, Presentation, Individual and group projects, regular, display and submission of artworks.

COURSE CONTENT:

The student will compose a creative composition in his own style choosing any medium, topic, style and develop it with potential. Student is free to choose to develop her own style and individuality. She can select cultural, religious, political awareness-based subject, landscape, abstract or realistic concept of art. 

    Submissions: 8 works Canvas Size- 3’x 4’ (minimum)
