Objective: 

The course will enable the students to Cultivate creative skills by manipulating space, form, texture, and other elements. Apply the principles of composition with sophistication. Experiment with new techniques to enhance your work and move towards developing a personal style. Use your compositions to raise social awareness and express thoughtful messages.

CO66: Evaluate the need of manipulating the elements & principles of painting in a composition

CO67: Assess the art of simplifications, complications of form, handling of colours and other essential elements in a composition

CO68: Demonstrate the society, environment, art and culture in composition for the evaluation.

Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Tutorials, Reading assignments, Demonstration

Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks.

Layouts & Sketches, Continuous Assessment Test, Semester End Examinations, Daily Assignments, Observation, Student Teacher Interaction and Final Submissions

 

 

COURSE CONTENT:

The student will compose a creative composition in his own style choosing any medium

Submission: 8 works, Canvas Size- 3’x 4’ (minimum)

 Note:

 The Exam will be conducted of 30 hours that will include 2 canvasses to be  completed.

1 canvas of 3’ x 4’ will be based on Human Figures.

4 canvasses of 15”x18” each will be based on Creative Composition
