Objective: 

The course will enable the students to develop an artwork according to the individual style along with the printmaking technique of etching/lithography/relief. Enhance the work by constructing an individual style of art.

CO88: Create artwork according to her individual style and work in the printmaking process which she chose like viscosity process (technique and methods) for making matrix.

 

CO89: Animate and depict the work of art by formulating the advanced printing method of viscosity/lithography/woodcut/intaglio in the development of an individual style.

 

CO90: Produce an artwork which implements the current scenario in contemporary art and apply their own individual art style.

 

CO91: Justify the artwork which defends the composition along with the technique of printmaking chosen.

 

CO92: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction.

COURSE CONTENT:

 

The student will choose any one of the following as a compulsory technique which they will continue in all the four semesters. Besides this they will have to choose one more technique as a subsidiary, which they can change in each semester if they want.

  • Relief printing (wood and lino)
  • Lithography
  • Intaglio (etching, viscosity)
  • Serigraphy

 

Submission: min. 8 works (not less than 12”x 18”)
