The students will be able to- CO9: Demonstrate ability in drawing: perception, translation of 3-D into 2-D space, composition through geometrical shapes and forms-composition in contrast, black and white, positive and negative space, tessellation.

COURSE CONTENT:
Fundamentals of 2D design examine the organizational principles common to all twodimensional art. In a series of practical assignments, students explore line, shape, scale, patternand other elements of design to achieve an awareness of form and appreciation of the way it cansuggest and amplify meaning of art.
