The students will -
CO52: Acquisition of the basic skills of portrait drawings, drawing from the live model to develop profound understanding of a human head.
CO53: sustain observation of various studies such as skull, eyes, nose, lips, ears, hairs, etc., to enable their ability of deep observation and keen examination of things through measurement, contour, mass, volume and rendering illumination through value.
CO54: Create anatomical study of portraits in different dry mediums like pastels and charcoal, to use human head creatively in their future artworks.
CO55: construct portraits which are naturalistic to be able to construct better 3Dportraits in later classes.
CO56: select appropriate tones to justify their observations of values to further their understanding of light and shadows
CO57: formulate an In-depth understanding of bone structure and facial anatomy will help them in making portraits in 3D mediums later
CO58: analyse different facial features and draw them accurately so as to create identical portraits in future.
