History of Far Eastern Art (Theory)

CO1:  Develop an understanding about Tang, Shang and Zhou dynasties considering artists, artistic components, theories and to assess the qualities of work of art in their historical and cultural settings.

CO2: Theories the factors involved in interpreting meaning of the art works done in The Northern Sung and The Southern Sung dynasties.

CO3: Specify the significance of the Ashikaga period considering regional and national features in context to artists and their works. 

CO4: Outline the evolution of Yamato-e E-Miki and narrative scrolls with an understanding of theme, materials, techniques and mediums to focus regional and national aspects.

CO5: Elaborate and analyze the artworks and artists of Edo and Ukiyo-e period. 

CO6: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction
