Objective: 

The course will enable the students to gain knowledge to locate, interpret and analyze the art works of the Indian miniature paintings, its schools and cave paintings along with techniques, style and medium chronologically through historical, cultural, regional perspective.

CO74: Evaluate the religious and cultural significance, technique, characteristics of the pala and jain school of painting.

 

CO75: Build knowledge of various art styles, characteristics, subject-matter and procedure of Mughal miniature paintings. 

 

CO76: Develop Understanding to assess the major periods,artists, methods, theories, styles,and themes in their historical and cultural settings in Rajasthani miniature paintings.
