Indian Aesthetics and Art Criticism (Theory)

CO70: Acquire an in-depth knowledge of Indian art scholars and their art theories.

CO71: Evaluate and understand Indian contemporary art through the writings of contemporary art scholars while assessing artworks of contemporary artists. 

CO72:   Develop the skills of criticism by analysing major movements, artists and their methods.

CO73: Construct an understanding towards well known artists of modern era who changed the history of indian art. Assess the qualities of work of art in their contemporary, political and cultural settings.

CO74:  Develop an understagtnding of the effect of cultural and political activities that occurred in the world which affected the visual language of art.
