COURSE OBJECTIVES:

The course will enable the students to-

  1. Explain how the functions of Label & packaging impact on its design, with reference to historical and contemporary precedent
  2. Evaluate the requirements for label & packaging in response to a brief
  3. Develop & present packaging prototypes in support of a given product.

CO131: Develop an understanding of the ways in which marketing research, target audiences, and user profiles affect the packaging design process.

CO134: Designs corporate identity and label design related to the target group's profile.
