Objective: 

The course will enable the students tocreate an artistically attractive perspective of objects, figures, nature, still life, inspiration from the world around, imagination within picture frames.Utilising reasonable techniques to paint subjects artistically and aesthetically experimenting in oil paints as a medium to bring out new ways to express one’s ideas and concept.

Painting (Oil) Composition (Practical)

CO7: Compose the artwork using principles and elements of art through the sketches, layouts of the subject along with observing and understanding the styles of other artists.

 

CO8: Prepare a submission specifying the technique, style, subject matter by examining the compositional space, elements applied in different mediums on different surfaces.

 

CO9: Producework of arts exploring ideas and themes while experimenting with medium.

 

CO10:Discuss the practiced skill and abilities of composition by responding to the enquiries through the oral exam.

    COURSE CONTENT:

Composition based on the organization of space and the use of horizontal and vertical lines arranged in 2D and 3D, advancement of previous experience towards complete pictorial interpretation, theme and expression of mood. Exploration of various possibilities of expression like distortion, dramatization, simplification.
