The students will – CO52: Observe and understand the features of portrait through measurement, contour, mass, volume, rendering, and illumination through value. CO53: Construct drawing of portrait through stepby step process. CO54: Painting portrait through proper use of light and shade. CO55: Anatomical study of portrait in different dry medium. CO56: Enhance knowledge to paint features, folds and curves of the face. CO57: Illustrate and create a more accurate, yet natural-looking (denotative form). |

COURSE CONTENT
Study of portrait from life, delineation of the structure and the character of head, study of features, study of light and shade, in monochrome and color with drapery at the background (pencil/ charcoal/ dry pastel/ water color)
