The students will – CO83: Identify basic skills of drawing from the live model which includes deep observation and keen examination of things through measurement, contour, massing, volume and rendering illumination through value. CO84: Develop skills of proportion to measure size, shape and position of features of a face through drawings of different age groups. CO85: Illustrate shading techniques to improve ability to render tone, character, and resemblance. CO86: Apply mediums in professional way. CO87: Demonstratingthe cultural and social existence of the surroundings. CO88: Create a more accurate, yet natural-looking (denotative form). |

COURSE CONTENT:
Study of portrait from life, delineation of the structure and the character of head, study of features, study of light and shade, in monochrome and color (pencil/ charcoal and dry pastel, oil pastel, water colour)

5 sketches of head study per day
