COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course will enable the students to:

  1. Provide knowledge about various materials to explore wider possibilities in bringing new medium in printmaking.
  2. Develop skills to use multiple mediums and techniques to create a print.
  3. Develop their own distinctive style with the knowledge gained of various print making methods.

Printmaking (Mix Media) (Practical)

 

 

The students will –

CO69: learn in depth knowledge of various mixing mediums and techniques (Calligraphy and cyanotype, Relief and, intaglio) to be explored in print making.

CO70: Examine material and matrix-based layout framing.

CO71: Understanding of Different type of tools and multiple color printing technique.

CO72: Construct the process of making   multiple type of matrix in one composition.

CO73: Summarizing aspects& printing process of mix-media.

CO74: Develop their own distinctive style with the knowledge gained of various print making methods.

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Tutorials, Reading assignments, Demonstration.

Learning activities for the students:

Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks.
