Objective: 

The course will enable the students to apply or challenge the rules of composition and proportion to create their own unique art style. They will study the principles of art and how to use space, using different displays, lighting, and other factors to express their ideas. Students will also develop a deep understanding of their artwork, from the tools and techniques to the materials they use, to create thoughtful and detailed pieces.

Round Composition IV

(Practical) 

CO84: Develop layouts or maquettes for round compositions, planning and creating works of various sizes from miniature to larger than life. This allows students to experiment with methodologies and strategies associated with different scales, enhancing their understanding and skill in working with varied dimensions.

CO85: Create a portfolio that analyzes your socio-political sensibilities, executing your thoughts in a 3D composition. Showcase advanced skills in tool usage and techniques for constructing textures and surfaces. Demonstrate a keen color sense in your sculptures, producing colors that complement your forms.

CO86: Appraise the efficiency and practice in the production process of creating original work for round composition projects, utilizing performance and skill in rendering large-scale and small-scale  round compositions.

CO87: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction. 

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion on composition subjects, Tutorials, Videos, Demonstration

Learning activities for the students:

Sketching, lay outing , Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks, Field practical, handling of tools, machines, and casting and molding equipment.

Layouts and Sketches, Continuous Assessment Test, Semester End Examinations, Daily Assignments, Observation, Student Teacher Interaction and Final Submissions.

COURSE CONTENT:

The student will prepare compositions in round using various textures, medium and will practice for skillful handling of tools and materials.
