Still Life Study (Practical)

CO7: Create sketches practicing their observational skills of still life objects that helps in skill development at later stages.

 

CO8: Display their observational and rendering skills in the final submission consisting of works constructed in various mediums and angles.

 

CO9: Produce artworks displaying observation and analysis of shape, form, tone and texture. Execute detailed drawing of still-life objects along drapery from given angles in chosen mediums.

 

CO10: Argue her understanding of still life, defending her works to develop profession integrity and code of conduct.

COURSE CONTENT:

Learn to indicate a simple form with one side light source using shadow and cast shadow with surface values. Emphasise on refining composition with space relationship and composing maximum 3 Objects with drapery.

Medium: Pencil, charcoal, pastel (dry/oil), pencil colour, water colour, poster colour

Submission: 4 works of Still Life in B/W

2 works of Still Life in Colour

3 Home Assignments of Still life and 5 sketches of study per day
