Being a good citizen of any country comes with the responsibility of voting regularly in order to have a good functioning government. College life is where we learn how to become responsible for the country. The students got such an opportunity in the painting workshop conducted under the guidance of Rajasthan Lalit kala Academy on the occasion of celebrating the 10th national voter’s day on 25th January’ 20.

The workshop was organised at Bhagwat Singh Mehta Sabhagar, Jaipur in which around 25-30 artists had taken part. 15 students from our university went under the curatorship of Mr. Shwet Goel. It was a good platform to express views about voting and election as a student. To see people around working through different mediums and visuals and conveying strong messages gave a different insight. How a simple poster can convey mind altering thoughts is something which was interesting to see for the students. Strong lines supporting visuals of people voting, representing different parts and castes of india was a thing to look forward to.

This workshop proved to be a good exposure for the students who are the future of our country , the working group in a few years. The one thing which everyone took back from this workshop is how to convey a message impactfully to the masses with minimum words and visuals.
