Discussion on some Western artists and Art during ‘16th Abhivyakti Ek Prayas’ The Annual Art Exhibition at Jawahar kala Kendra, jaipur

Along with various sessions being held about Indian Art History, several Western Art movements were discussed in the '16th Abhivyakti Ek Prayas’ the Annual Art Exhibition at Jawahar kala Kendra, Jaipur. One of them being Dadaism. Dadaism, is known as an art movement of the European avant grade in the early 20th century. From every detailed note on when it began to its entire journey the iis University professors even the minimalistic details. One of the famous artist named Duchamp was pondered upon. Marcel Duchamp was one of the greatest sculptor from that time period. The artwork that was discussed was the Bicycle Wheel or the toilet seat. His sculptures were and the main thesis on his works was discussed thoroughly. The students and the teachers couldn't have had a better interaction session.
